I've been delivering custom software solutions for 20 years, primarily web-based. For 8 of those years, I've focused on writing custom marketing automation software at Mentor Graphics, now a Siemens company, with a small team of brilliant developers. Mentor, under the Siemens PL umbrella, is the largest Electronic Design Automation company in the world. Chances are that the device you are viewing this on has some electronics that were designed using the Mentor toolset. These days, I spend much of my day writing ColdFusion, PLSQL, and jQuery centric JavaScript. In between, I think about data integrity algorithms, convince myself that Docker really can be used in production and that the Places Model really is worth all the complexity of Git.
Listed skills include Xml, Javascript, Agile Methodologies, Ajax, and 8 others.

Ciber Federal was contracted with the US Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to deliver a Wild Horse and Burro Program System to manage equine for the entire United States. The WHBPS manages the entire life cycle of a horse or burro, from birth to death. This $20 million dollar application was specifically designed to simulate a desktop application over standard HTTP/S protocols and as such utilized a number of emerging browser based technologies. In a tiered enterprise Agile team environment, one of three developers who coded the application. Introduced a rapid prototyping phase into the SDLC to better isolate BLM user interface needs. Prototypes made extensive use of jQuery and Flex widgets. Results: Reduced unnecessary middle tier code and support, increased user acceptance and interface usability, and ultimately saved hundreds of “refactoring” code hours.Introduced new work flow processes, server configuration strategies, Java based support code, debugging and server monitoring tools (FusionReactor), and performance testing. Results: Eliminated weekly server down time, increased overall application performance, and ultimately shortened release cycles from months to weeks, sometimes days.Working with the lead QA test engineer, developed new strategies to quickly isolate, define, and fix bugs. Results: Bug resolution reduced to a matter of minutes or hours, not days or weeks as it had been. Application was a Windows HTML Application (HTA) which made extensive use of XML data islands, XSLT, XHTML, DHTML (Jscript and CSS), AJAX, Flash, ArcIMS, advanced Oracle PL/SQL, ColdFusion MX, ColdFusion Report Builder, and the J2EE Java architecture upon which ColdFusion runs.
