In this remote ALE project, I conducted a rapid review of the effectiveness and safety of vitamin D on COVID-19 prevention and management. My responses and accomplishments were:-Communicating with my preceptor, Prof. Mei Chung to develop an overall work plan for my ALE project and checking in bi-weekly;-Communicating with Tufts librarian to determine searching terms; -Conducting literature searching in Medline, Embase, and Cochrane Center of Randomized Clinical Trial; -Managing literature records in Endnote; -Screening abstracts using Rayyan; -Screening full-text, extracting design details, and conducting risk of bias assessment;-Writing a final report to WHO (unpublished);-Interviewing a WHO scientist, Jason Montaz, briefly, on how scientific evidence influencing policy-making;-Giving a presentation on the main findings of my ALE project for Tufts faculties and my preceptor;
