WHO commissioned Systematic Review Project leading by Prof. Mei Chung;--Screened over 16,000 abstracts and 964 full-texts together with the team in two months;--Extracted data from 138 articles together with the team for writing the report delivering to WHO expert panel;--Conducted risk of bias assessment to evaluate the quality of included studies;--Assisted in referencing and table-making in the final delivery to WHO;Pork and Health Scoping Review Project, leading by Dr. Taylor Wallace--Trained as the co-project manager by Laura Pankert Paige;--Managed the project by coordinating the team meeting, taking notes, making assignments, and following up with the PI and team members;

This is a side project of the WHO commissioned systematic review on vitamin D. In this remote ALE project, I conducted a rapid review of the effectiveness and safety of vitamin D on COVID-19 prevention and management. My responses and accomplishments were:-Communicating with my preceptor, Prof. Mei Chung to develop an overall work plan for my ALE project and checking in bi-weekly;-Communicating with Tufts librarian to determine searching terms; -Conducting literature searching in Medline, Embase, and Cochrane Center of Randomized Clinical Trial; -Managing literature records in Endnote; -Screening abstracts using Rayyan; -Screening full-text, extracting design details, and conducting risk of bias assessment;-Writing a final report to WHO (unpublished);-Interviewing a WHO scientist, Jason Montaz, briefly, on how scientific evidence influencing policy-making;-Giving a presentation on the main findings of my ALE project for Tufts faculties and my preceptor;

-Developed nutrition and health tips for clients in both Mandarin and English under supervision;-Designed recipes and assisted in gathering nutrient component data, which were used in the development of the online interactive weight management program;-Structured and delivered a 45 minutes lecture with 15 minutes Q&A session on the rainbow diet for colleagues, which helped in developing the lecture delivered to the clients;

In this three-month internship, I rotated in multiple sections in the nutrition department at Huadong Hospital, including in-patient, hospital kitchen managing, and enteral nutrition. My main responses were:-Checking patients' diet information and daily meal preference, and participated in planning daily menu for patients with special dietary needs, eg., low-protein diet and low fiber diet;-Conducting food safety inspection at the hospital kitchen;-Assisted in clinical supervisor Dr. Min Chen with organizing weekly FAQ sessions for diabetic patients-Participated in nutrition consultation for patients under Dr. Min Chen's supervision in cooperation with colleagues from Orthopedics
