I graduated from the University of Ottawa with Honors Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Communication. My involvement in this program has exposed me to a wide range of topics including, multimedia, social uses of new media, quantitative methods, interpersonal communication, public relations, and audience research. Currently, I am learning the courses about digital marketing and e-commerce, including knowledge and skills about SEO, marketing metrics analysis, social media, email marketing, etc. Also, I am learning skills of marketing tools, including Canva, Hootsuite, Shopify, Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.In my previous role in UOCSA media department, I was responsible for running the official social media account. Tasks included formulating the team arrangement plan and strategies, completing the creation, typesetting, and publishing of graphic articles in social media, and operating the media chat groups. As the team member of the organization, I was responsible for assisting in planning, creating strategy, and participating in both online and offline activities. Tasks included following up at the event, photographing, hosting sponsors, and making multimedia presentations. Through my studies, I have gained skills related to video production, brochure production, website design, photo editing, researching, and analyzing data. I intend to continue this trend into the future.
