Reviewing the approved inspection test plans, procedures, scope of work, etc. toperform the required inspection. Inspecting the incoming materials for damages, satisfactory identification & toensure that received material is according to the P.O requirements with authenticMTC. Inspecting the material storage area to ensure that all material is stored and handledin a manner that will prevent distortion, deterioration or damage. Stage-wise inspections of spool fabrication, fit-up, supports fabrication, flange fit-upas per approved (IFC) isometric drawings at workshop/site. Piping cleaning inspection prior erection to verify that interior is clear of foreignmaterials. Check edge preparation and fit-ups for field welds to verify that areas to be welded are free of contaminants and that fit-up is within tolerance. Confirm repairs, and re-inspection in accordance with specifications.

Witnessing various NDE activities such as PT, MPT, Vacuum box testing, Pad leaktesting, Penetrating oil testing as per required specification. Test pack line checking against Isometric, BOM, P&ID’s, verifying weld maps, gasketinstallations etc. Initiating punch list field piping, to ensure that the line is complete & ready forpressure test.Preparation of pressure test package to verify that required documents like Hydrotest diagram, Isometrics, weld maps, weld history, P&ID’s, NDT requirements areincluded as per requirements

Inspecting the re-instated pipingsystem i.e. to check all the “B” punch points are cleared & closed.⬄ Inspecting and monitoring Valve installation activities, to verify that valve isinstalled as per required orientation in isometric & resembles the tag numbermentioned in it.⬄ Issuing observations/NCR for violations found on site, defective materials receivedetc. following up their closeout.⬄ Compiling Dossiers as per approved index prior to hand over.
