Rupal is a marketing professional and a project management specialist with 16 years of global marketing experience behind her. She received her MBA from Temple University, USA in 2000, which coincided with the evolution of the dotcom generation and major shifts in communication and branding strategies. Rupal started her management career with YOPA, USA in the area of product sales from 2000-2003. Following which she moved back to India and worked with Tech Mahindra from 2003-2009. As Head, Global Communications at Tech Mahindra she oversaw the daunting challenge of rebranding Mahindra British Telecom into Tech Mahindra. Which allowed the company to position itself as modern, new age Indian Software Company. Rupal joined the Sakal Group in 2012 and worked closely with the managing director of the group to create a student organization for grass roots actions focused on social impact and nation transformation. As the head of Youth Inspirators Network (YIN), a student organization comprising of 5000 members across Maharashtra. Rupal was the head of the network and was responsible for setting up the vision, mission, purpose and goals.In 2013 Rupal took up the additional responsibility as a consultant for a logistics and infrastructure company called KSH. At KSH Rupal devised a complete suite of branding, PR, Communications and leadership management, employee engagement, training and Business Strategy Modules. She also heads HR for the KSH groupFrom 2015 onwards Rupal started working closely with her family where they run Asia’s largest privately owned single specialty Orthopedic Hospital and Research Center. Rupal guides the group on communication, social media integration, and new business development & growth strategy. She is also a guest faculty at the group’s Sancheti Healthcare Academy and coaches’ management students on Marketing, Communications, PR and Business Strategy. In addition to all of the above Rupal also has a passion for the arts and this has led her to partner with 2 friends to start AAbracadabra – a performing arts company which has brought some leading plays and musicals to the city. She is also a director in her husband’s healthcare start-up ‘HealYos’ – one of the leading Physiotherapy at Home brands.CII has appointed Rupal as Chairperson of CII’s Indian Womens Network.Rupal is proud of her work life balance and manages to end her day as a devoted mother of two and a housemaker in addition to all the above listed
