As the Chief Controller – Finance & Accounts, I direct the overall functions of Finance & Accounts by providing strategic leadership and ensuring compliance with the generally accepted accounting principles. I am responsible for coordinating with Spar Solutions, USA the holding company for Transfer Pricing and Financial Reporting, accountable for the financial planning of the company and ensuring accuracy of the company’s reported financial results. My job requires extensive coordination with the Statutory Auditors, Tax Consultants and Company Secretary and ensuring effective management of working capital and cash flows. During this period, I efficiently managed the entire gamut of Finance activities with focus on Financial Planning & Control and ensured that the strategic objectives of the Controller's Office are being achieved. By implementing strategic initiatives, I ensured smooth financial operations, streamlined the entire framework by putting in place the systems and processes and managed to keep the overhead costs under control right from the first year itself. I have been involved in the design of budgetary plans and a documented system of accounting policies and procedures, ensured timely preparation of financial statements and annual reports, filing the statutory reports and tax returns on a timely basis. In addition to this, on the people management front I have contributed towards hiring and setting-up high-performance teams by providing training and strategic direction on financial matters.

As a Financial Consultant, I reviewed the existing processes in the Accounts Receivable Management. My responsibility was to oversee the planning and execution of effective processes for tracking the receivables and reducing the Receivable Conversion Cycle.During this period, I had significant achievements in putting in place a Credit Control process and reduced the overall costs of the organization. I planned the Expense Reimbursement policies for the subsidiaries.

I led the functions of Finance & Accounts of the company and provided financial leadership to the finance teams. In addition to this, I looked after the general administrative matters of the company.

As t he COO of the organization, I provided cross-functional leadership and implemented best practices as a result of which boosted business profitability, optimized costs and strengthened the operational capabilities. By coordinating with the Marketing team, I promoted company’s visibility and business development efforts based on industry verticals and regions within the US and Canada. I managed diverse functions and was responsible for implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and business-specific policy changes and processes. As a people driven leader, I managed the entire gamut of people-centric practices including Recruitment, Training, Payroll Management and Legal functions.
