- Process development studies to improve the current manufacturing process and optimise the commercial scale process in collaboration with various stakeholders.- Develop and validate seperation process for different types of Insulin products.- Involved in assessment of new low pressure column technology to be implemented at manufacturing scale.- Planning and executing process characterization study for critical steps in downstream processing to identify parameters that affect process performance attributes and critical quality attributes.- Involved in process and technology transfer from labscale to pilot scale and finally, to manufacturing scale for different types of Insulin products.- Proficient in all downstream processing steps for Insulin products, that includes Cation Exchange Chromatography, Reverse Phase Chromatography, Crystallisation, Precipitation, Centrifugation and Lyophillization.- Composed and revised various Protocols, Technical Learning Plans, Study Reports, Process Instructions, Equipment Operating Procedures and other cGMP related documents.- Provide technical and process related support to assist with problems/issues that arise at Manufacturing to ensure successful batch execution.- Involved in successful implementation of Process Validation batches of new improved process at manufacturing scale.- Read literature related to scientific area of expertise to remain in current knowledge.- Maintain laboratory equipments to ensure proper working order and troubleshoot malfunctions when needed.
