The company was a “tec “ startup which built cloud hosted ( or on site hosted ) software for compensation benchmarking and analytics. Despite creating a beta version of the software which was piloted by 11 major investment banks the firm was unable to secure further capital to expand its growth and was sold in 2015. During my time with the company I continued to utilise my extensive contacts within the investment banking sector as well as generate new contacts at global compensation and benefits level within these organisations.

The firm rapidly became one of the most successful boutique firms focussing on this area. In 2005 - together with my Partner whom I had recruited to the firm - we established Wellesley Partners in Hong Kong servicing our global investment banking clients in the Asia PAC region. The firm grew rapidly and by 2008/9 was ranked as the leading investment banking search firm in Asia PAC . ( the U.K. did not generate such rankings) Throughout my time at Wellesley Partners I continued to generate revenues of approximately GBP 2 million per annum in the U.K. and Europe and our revenues in Asia grew to approximately US $ 8- 10 million. I continued to work with my key clients - Lehman Brothers , JPMorgan, Rothschild etc and was responsible for assisting them securing the successful appointment of over 50 Managing Directors as well as Senior business leaders.The firm operated entirely on a retained search basis and was consistently awarded exclusive mandates to secure senior hires across a number of disciplines. I remained as founding partner for the firm for more than 10 years. -

Throughout my career at the firm I achieved personal billings in excess of US$ 3 million per annum. I was appointed Senior Partner in 2003.
