I was a senior member of a 24/7 team that monitored the dispatch, operation and control of over 1 GW of renewable electricity generation assets connected to the National Electricity Market. The asset portfolio included wind, solar and the Hornsdale Power Reserve in South Austraia (Tesla Big Battery).In this role I completed AEMO's Network and FCAS constraints course and delivered tools to derive greater understanding and insights of how network constraints imapact dispatch.My responsibilities included;- Trading of energy and FCAS for effecient dispatch given contract postions and obligations- In-depth analysis of market dynamics, competitor behaviour, revenues and costs- Compliance investigation following system events, performance engineering and optimisation of dispatch- Coordinate maintenance and outages of assets with relevant parties- Training and onboarding of new staff

The Clean Energy Regulator (CER) is an economic and environmental regulator with a mission statement to accelerate carbon abatement. In this role my responsibility was to understand, communicate and resolve complex issues in the rapidly transforming renewable energy space. I also coordinated the briefing to the Executive Council on the Renewable Power Percentages for 2020.

I drove innovation that augmented and automated business processes. My work was recognised with an Award of Excellence in the Innovation category for my contributions to reduce regulatory burden. This culminated in an Engineering (Honours) thesis 'Deeming large-scale generation certificates: Estiamting electricity generation for PV systems from staellite-derived irradiance'.

Using open source intelligence monitoring software I designed a query that captured relevant information on high risk projects and clients participating in administered schemes.
