I completed my undergraduate in film production at AFDA, South Africa's premiere film school in 2013 in Cape Town. With a lifelong passion for narrative, my interests brought me to focus on writing anddirecting. Writing, rewriting, and breaking down scripts was a constant occupation of mine but I alsodelved into the world of cameras and post-production software.After I completed my undergraduate degree, I worked in the South African film industry, as a Researcher for Velocity Films where I learned the ropes of working in an office environment. My responsibilities included researching relevant resource material for upcoming productions, administrative tasks, and client calls; all of which developed skills that I could apply to this position.I then settled in Los Angeles in 2016 to begin my MFA in Film Production at Loyola Marymount University. I produced, wrote and directed several short films in my time there and ingratiated in the process of film production in the California; acquiring permits, casting actors, applying for festivals.During my time at LMU I completed three internships in the development department of three production studios; Indigo Films, Fabrik Entertainment and most recently Eclectic Pictures. Time at these companies has trained me to in the process of thorough, professional script coverage, correspondence with talent agencies, labor union, writers and executives.
