Reporting directly to the Project Manager I had a team of 5-10 engineers reporting to me. I was also responsible for day to day communication with the client, their engineers and contractors.Key Achievements:Reduced cold commissioning time for MULPIC systems from 3 to 1 month. Site/commissioning manager for three MULPIC systems. Developed technology upgrades for MULPIC systems with a minimum potential for £4M of re-vamp work and increased profits on new projects.Technical paper published and presented at the Rolling & Processing Conference 08Applied for two patents for advances in cooling technology.

Heap & Partners are an SME with a £7M/year turnover. They provide valve and system solutions to the Petro/Chem, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear, Water and Food/Drink industries.My role was to develop new products and systems for the company portfolio and provide consultancy and design services for customers requiring bespoke application solutions.I was line manager for two engineers and reported directly to the Managing Director. Key Achievements:Increased the R&D Dept. revenue by 200% over a 2 year period.Designed, installed and commissioned the main water supply system in Budweiser UK for Thames Water.Gained principal supplier status with VAI for a control valves system due to application of technology and system knowledge. This secured orders to date worth over £1.3M.Industrial consultant for CIMS at Liverpool University.Designed, developed and manufactured a pilot plant for continuous production of bio-diesel from vegetable oil.
