Wake up - Eat - Generate Leads - Close Deals - Sleep - Repeat.Hi, Rupesh here!I’m an Electrical Engineer and a proud alumnus of WCE, Sangli. I was Vice President of Art Circle, an art club in WCE. I have also performed at international fests like Mood Indigo (IIT Bombay). I was an active event organizer while maintaining decent grades.As soon as I graduated from college in 2018, I started working at a construction company.I left my first job within a year because I've admired administrative services since childhood. I prepared for the UPSC Civil Services Examination for 3 years but failed to clear the exam. Many people consider this a failure, but I don’t! Those 3 years gave me immense knowledge that helped me understand this world and our society better. It allowed me to think from political, social, economic, geographical, historical, and psychological perspectives. I have learned how to handle failures and will keep trying no matter what.I love interacting with people and am always open to making new friends. This comprehensive package of in-built skills makes me a confident salesperson. Currently, I work with Hexanovate, a Digital Marketing and Software Development company with a vision of making this world a better place for Businesses.Hexanovate trained me and gave me support.I started my sales career by generating bulk leads using LinkedIn Sales Navigator. It took me around three months to excel at it.By the end of the third month, I closed my first deal, which generated a revenue of INR 4000..!! Yes, you read it right. That was my first deal.With time, I learned Prospecting, requirement gathering, planning and commercials presentations, negotiations, closing deals, onboarding, and maintaining client relationships.At the end of the sixth month, I closed one of the biggest deals our company had ever seen. It was a big brand in the FinTech domain.The journey in Sales has been pretty good since then. I am enjoying the highs and lows of this job, and I am confident that I have a great career in sales ahead.We have made numerous improvements in our processes and evolving every single day as individuals and as a team.My company has generated revenue in 7-figure INR from the deals I have closed.I look forward to adding value to my organization, the LinkedIn community and the people around me.I’m a good listener as well as a good speaker. It was a project owned by Uttar Pradesh Government.I was a GET in the MEP (Mechanical, Electric and Plumbing) Department.The MEP Department Head (my boss) and I handled the entire MEP work in this project. Work done by my department was approximately worth INR 150 Crore.The On-Site work challenges were different, and they taught me to survive and perform better in physically challenging situations.I learned to manage a team and attend professional meetings. Catering to client demands and getting work done while being responsible and accountable.
