I provide in depth investment analysis to enable decision making on our portfolio.I play an integral role in Genesis’ participation in the IPD social housing index, where I collate an expansive range of stock data. IPD would then benchmark our stock performance with other housing associations. As part of this I would work closely with IPD and Savills to ensure our data is in order. I provide data management on our Asset Investment Programme, which is our 5 year planned maintenance program. I manage the database which includes stock condition data, as well as key property information. Our priority is to ensure we provide can effectively provide essential planned maintenance within budget.To ensure we are utilising our portfolio effectively I worked closely with PWC on a stock rationalisation plan. We identified properties in our portfolio to dispose, understanding that reinvestment would benefit the company and provide more social housing.I manage the in house GIS system, using a range of data sources and GIS techniques to provide bespoke portfolio analysis.

Assisted in the delivery of the regeneration of Grahame Park, a large council estate in Colindale. • Main role was to provide day to day support to the Project Management of the regeneration. I was the first point of contact for any regeneration queries residents and external stakeholders.• I revamped the data management system for empty properties, creating a new database with relevant details on all properties on the estate. With regular maintenance and updating, it has proved an important tool to ensure security and management of properties ready for demolition. • Provided assistance to the Asset Management team, using Database management skills to update the Asset Model and become familiar with the in house GIS.• I gained experience in Project Management, leading on projects such as the Grahame Park Community Garden, Land Parcels and a founder of “Friends of Heybourne Park” group. • My work with residents and other external stakeholders had led to a nomination for Best Customer Service in Genesis Housing Association.

One year Industrial Placement at RTP, a Planners & Development Economists consultancy, completed for my sandwich degree course. General role was to carry out GIS mapping and analysis on several projects for clients. I initially received MapInfo Professional training which I passed. Worked with public and private sector clients, on a range of projects from retail studies to on-shore wind farming. Daily roles were to handle GIS tasks for several ongoing projects at a time, along with maintaining the copyright database. Worked with several types of datasets including Census data, Experian data, IGD retail data, all within the framework of UK administrative boundaries.
