To initiate corrective & preventive action on problems relating to production, product, customer claims. Coordination with their department for problem solving. Identifying scope for value engineering process operation in modifying equipment, process flow, working practice, consumable, power for controlling & reducing conversion cost per unit produced. Leading and monitoring team of supervisor, leader and worker’s to optimize their contribution to organizations through training and motivation. To perform trouble shooting activity. Proper handling storage and preservation of product of material Jigs fixture tooling & equipment’s. Maintaining T5S on shop floor. Eliminating losses, cost reduction and maintaining FIFO storage area. Reduction in die set up time. In line inspection of Press parts and Welded parts. Root cause analysis & monitor process/final rejection on daily basis. To study press shop & identify the improvement. Preparation of Daily, Monthly & Long term Production plans. Planning and production of press tools as per schedule for production on tandem line. Achieving the planned periodic schedules by overseeing production related tasks including planning, procurement, and control and troubleshooting. Overall responsibility of the shop for production with quality and accountable for proper utilization of man, machine & material. Analyse shift performance covering productivity, machine down time, product rejection data etc. & initiate productivity & process improvement Productivity improvements by improving line wise SPM. Collaborate with internal service providers to achieve smooth work flow, to resolve the technical problems and to ensure timely delivery of products with quality. Exposure to SMED and its implementation.
