I am a registered dietitian with past experience in clinical, community and administration areas of nutrition. After working as a dietitian for several years, I moved into the area of critical care nutrition research which included the development of evidence based guidelines, knowledge generation, synthesis and translation. I have had a wide array of managerial and leadership experiences, I am the co-author of multiple publications and I have delivered presentations at numerous international and national platforms. I spent 6 years promoting the prevention of chronic diseases through diet and exercise in primary care in Canada. I represented a national team of leading experts from Metabolic Syndrome Canada, a not for profit organization aimed at improving the lives of Canadians through reversal of metabolic syndrome through the diet and exercise.I am currently working as a Program Manager for the Canadian Malnutrition Task Force, a subcommittee of the Canadian Nutrition Society on advancing nutrition care across multiple settings with a focus on the detection, treatment an prevention of malnutrition. I have vast experience and effective skills in project coordination, management, creating partnerships and networking across multiple disciplines.
