I also compiled applications and sought approvals for non-substantial and substantial amendments as when required for the trial. In collaboration with my colleagues I co-designed comprehensive and accessible researcher training materials, researcher training programme and participant facing documentation. I collaborated with my colleagues to deliver high quality training to researchers at study sites for the definitive multicentre RCT.I developed and maintained, positive and productive working relationships with researchers and therapy teams at study sites. Providing support to sites face to face and remotely, dealing with queries effectively and efficiently to ensure smoothing running of study activities at each. Excellent working relationships with all study sites were key to the trial being able to recruit to time and target and achieve a high follow up success rate of 75%.Actively involved in participant recruitment and participant follow up activities for the Nottinghamshire site, recruiting to time and target, and achieving a high follow up success rate of 81% at site level. Trained in taking informed consent and conducting capacity assessments with vulnerable older adults. Conducted comprehensive assessments including cognition, balance and mood with older adults with dementia. I also co-led the diversity work package for the PrAISED implementation study. This study explored facilitators and barriers to engagement with complex interventions, rehabilitation and research for people with dementia from underserved communities. Show less
