My practice has grown to emphasize probate and business matters throughout the state of Georgia. My probate practice includes representing clients in contested and uncontested matters along with my service as Administrator, Conservator, and Trustee. Probate matters include estates, guardianship and/or conservatorship for incapacitated adults, guardianship or conservatorship for minors, and related various filings (encroachments, leave to sell, accounting, annual returns, removals, discharge, etc.). Even though I represent clients primarily in the metro Atlanta area, I have represented clients in other areas and am happy to take uncontested cases throughout Georgia. Another significant portion of my practice involves business matters. It is a pleasure to work with clients as they work through formation issues for their business (corporations, LLCs, etc.) and to help with various other issues that may arise (Buy-Sell Agreements, Non-Competes, Investment Agreements, misc contracts, License Agreements, etc.). Also, I have represented many individuals as the buyer or seller of a local business as they work through the sale and transition.

In 2001, I was appointed the Fayette County Adinistrator/ Conservator for Estates, Incapacitated Adults, and Minors. This appointment by our Probate Judge was for a four year term. I am pleased to have been re-appointed to this position since that time (by our new Probate Judge, Hon. Ann Jackson) and I continue to serve in that capacity. I already had a significant amount of experience in probate, however, this work has increased my involvement and familiarity with the probate process in Georgia. I appreciate this opportunity to serve Fayette County residents and consider this role with the Probate Court as an honor and privilege. I do my best in each of these situations to look after the Ward or Estate and to handle the case efficiently and properly within statutory guidelines while providing all parties with open communication, information, and opportunities for input.
