Passionate about development economics, public policy, social statistics, leadership, politics, and diplomacy, i have been working with many civic society organizations, youth-led and youth-focused organizations, Local Government entities, and Economic Research Organizations that enable me to exercise my passions. I am a Public Management Consultant at the Inter American Development Bank. I previously worked at the EY Caribbean, Ministry of Trade and Industry, ExporTT Limited, and the Heath Economics Unit, Centre for Health Economics, UWI St Augustine where i delved deep into International Trade, Export Promotion, and Economic and Social Development matters across the Caribbean. I also have a robust volunteerism life serving my time selflessly to various organizations. I am currently the President of the Rotaract Club of Central Port of Spain, a member of the Rotary International Family. I have a decade-long journey in volunteering holding various roles including Head Trainer of the Model United Nations, the Vice-Chair of the Caribbean Women in Leadership Trinidad and Tobago National Chapter, writer for the Commonwealth Youth Council, President of the UWI Economics Society and Trinidad and Tobago Youth Ambassador to the United States. From issues ranging from Economic Development, Social Development, Human Rights, and Climate Change to name a few, I commit myself to becoming a well-rounded and well-informed leader. With a passion for Economics and my zeal for making the world a better place, I believe that through my academic studies and civic engagement involvements, I can bridge the gap and use development economics to solve many of the problems faced in our society.
