I graduated with a PhD in School Psychology at the University of Washington - Seattle. Clinically, I have expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis based assessment and intervention for children with pediatric feeding disorders and disruptive behavior problems. In addition, I have extensive training in the diagnostic and evaluation of neurodevelopmental disorders including Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as well as providing family-centered interventions and delivering parent training to families with special needs. I also have clinical experience in disruptive behavior disorders, anxiety and mood disorder, the impact of trauma and childhood adversity on mental health in children and adolescents. My approach may include motivational interview (MI), play therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), and dialect behavioral therapy (DBT) .I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and their caregivers to reach their potential and care about serving the underserved neurodivergent population. I am a board member of Chinese Autism Resources and Empowerment Services (CARES), a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing culturally and linguistically sensitive services to the Chinese-speaking autism community in the Greater Seattle Area.
