• Primary responsibility to bring in expertise in the field of algorithmic trading from risk perspectiveto prevent any accidents in trading platforms vis-à-vis risk frameworks.
• Work on designing and taking up new specs from Risk/RMS perspective for existing and newtrading platforms as per changing market scenarios
• Review Risk/RMS Frameworks on a continual basis to ensure that we have covered risk holisticallyfor our in-house developed and vendor provided algos / trading systems.
• Preparing Functionality Test Plan / Framework along with the team by understanding the riskassociated with newly developed algorithmic trading platforms, which can be further used by testingteam during testing process.
• Lead Order and Trade Analytics Team (OTA)to develop a system that ensures that all the risk /RMS rules that are in place are working as per expectation.
• Work with team on designing and creating specs for OTA for any new trading platforms which areon-boarded by the business for Algo Trading.

• Primary responsibility to bring in expertise in the field of algorithmic trading (working closely with traders to understand their requirements, analyze performance of current Algos, tweaking Algos for best performance.
• Work on designing new Algos as per changing market scenarios and Emkay requirements
• Review alternate trading platforms on a continual basis to see if we can adopt any features for our ALgos / trading systems.
• Preparing Functionality Test Plan along with the team by understanding the business requirements, which can be used by testing team during testing process.
• Have a close overview on the overall trading environment at Emkay (IOB / FIX / DMA / SOR). This includes BOD/EOD and all daily BAU trading operations related activities.
• Interacting with different teams of the Emkay (IT, Business users, Risk, Compliance & Back-office) for understanding their needs, providing technological solutions & ensuring a smooth roll-out of the mutually agreeable.

• Developing new strategies (logic) and updating existing strategies in Cash, Future, Options and Currency Market to capture arbitrages.
• Writing logic for those strategies as well as testing strategies provided by the Tech team before passing on to the clients.
• Preparing and Documenting Test Cases For the Strategies in Capital Market

• Key strategies developed: Pair trading in Matlab using statistical data, Pair Trading in Nest Environment, Pattern matching in Matlab using financial data and other related strategies

• Primary responsibility is to calculate the brokerage fees for complex financial products such as: Credit Default Swaps, IRS, Swaptions, etc. These includes developing (Coding), brokerage model that automates brokerage.
• Created an excel-based model using VB.Net code to automate the brokerage calculation process completely. This includes automation of vlookups, deletions, as well as logic for calculating the brokerage fees.
