Helping clients determine the appropriate steps to take to secure protection for their innovations. Drafting patent applications in the software, electronics, mechanical, and aerospace arts. Preparing infringement opinions, patentability opinions, design patent applications, and office actions. Trademark, copyright, and trade secret counseling. IP landscape analysis and strategy development.

Examined and documented proprietary technologies by studying prototypes, technical documents, and demonstration media and interviews with Masten engineers. Assisted in drafting patentability opinion letters and patent applications. Assisted in developing Masten’s trade secret identification and maintenance procedures. Developed technology evaluation procedures. Assisted in the preparation and execution of business operations activities including lead generation, client relations, and proposal drafting.

Published in Phys. Rev. B and Journal of Applied Physics. Gave presentation to 54th MMM Conference in Austin, TX. Analyzed research data, created new experiments, authored peer-reviewed papers, presented research data and posters at professional conferences.
