Serve on the Board helping guide critical decisions of the company. Vynca, with 100+ employees, is now in hundreds of hospitals, health plans, ACOs, medical groups and state registries across the United States to serve the needs of over 1 million patients.

Operational leader and President of the business during the first 5 & 1/2 years where my co-founders and I raised the first $10M in venture and angel funding and grew the company from napkin sketch to 20 employees plus a subsidiary in Taiwan. In addition to early functional roles in Leadership, Operations, HR, and Product Strategy, I was responsible for sales, business development, and was the primary business partner to review all legal contracts for investment and commercial relationships. During this time the technology team built a product that won first place in the United States ONC/HHS electronic records patient matching competition in 2017, beating IBM Watson and several other prominent competitors. Starting in 2016, I subsequently closed the first $2M in ARR for the business and lead deals to close more than 50 hospitals and 3 state level non-profit / government entities.

I serve as a strategy advisor, board member, and/or early stage investor to several high growth medical technology companies. A few notable companies include: Watershed Therapeutics (Board Member and first Investor), Vynca Health (Board Member, investor, and Founder), Emme (Seed Investor - Acquired by Simple Health), Zeit Medical (Seed Investor), Novonate (Seed Investor), IHP Therapeutics (Seed Investor), Exvade (Strategy Advisor and Investor), Moonrise Medical (Strategy Advisor), and Noctrix Health (Strategy Advisor and first investor).

Executive leader of the New Product Development, Product Management, Clinical Affairs, and R&D teams at Lansinoh Laboratories. Served on the Global Executive Leadership Team while working closely with board members and executive leaders of our Japanese parent company. In five years I recruited, trained, and supported a team that launched more than 20 consumer health products and created a robust and repeatable product pipeline. I established Lansinoh's intellectual property portfolio which now has more than 65 pending and issued patents, created in a collaborative effort with multiple cross functional team members I educated and empowered to protect these ideas. I also championed the creation of the clinical advisory board and clinical affairs functions which has resulted in multiple peer reviewed clinical substantiation articles in academic journals and conferences. I established Lansinoh's innovation stage gate process and co-chaired the committee for project selection. I also served as the lead for strategic diligence on several corporate development opportunities and was a change agent within the business to expand the strategic scope of the company from a breastfeeding accessories company to a women's maternal healthcare brand.Over my tenure the business grew annual global sales from approximately $120M to more than $150M, even with significant headwinds from the Covid-19 pandemic, subsequent supply chain crisis, and a 2% year on year decline in the birth rate. Many of the products we launched, and those in the pipeline yet to be launched, secured national listings at top retail accounts including Walmart, Amazon, and Target and are sold globally in other retail and ecommerce channels in more than 28 countries.
