Dr. B. Rushi Kumar is presently working as a Professor of Mathematics, Department of Mathematics , School of Advanced Sciences, VIT, Vellore, India. Dr. Rushi Kumar obtained his Ph.D. degree in Mathematics in the area of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, India in 2008. He also did his Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Mathematics from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, India. His research interests are Fluid Dynamics, Porous Media, Magnetohydrodynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Computational Data Science. Dr. Rushi Kumar has published 120+ refereed research papers so far in various national, international journals and conferences. He has received research publication awards from VIT University from 2011 to 2018 for his research publications. Dr Rushi Kumar was nominated by DST, India as Host Scientist for prestigious CV Raman Fellowship for African Researchers. DST, India Nominated him as an Indian expert to deliver an invited talk in International conference on applications of Fluid Dynamics(ICAFD-2012) which is held at the University of Botswana, Gaborone, during Sep2012. He visited the University of West Indies, Trinidad and the university of Arkansas, USA for Academic and Research collaborations'. He is also given invited talks in several national/international in conferences, workshops, FDP's and symposiums on various topics related to Applied Mathematics research.Dr Rushi Kumar is a member of the Indian Mathematical Society (IMS) and is associated with other professional bodies including RMS, APTSMS, ISTAM, AARM, RMS. He is a reviewer for many reputed international journals and conferences. He is the editorial board member for several international journals.
