Executive leader responsible for Enclara’s national Call-center, Mail-order and Retail pharmacies, Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM), and Procurement teams. Led and transformed the operational functions thru two successful M&A transactions.• Maintained overall responsibility and accountability for all operational functions of private equity backed, 800+ employee, national, multi-site hospice-focused pharmacy and pharmacy benefits manager (PBM). • Regularly presented to and interacted directly with PE sponsor and Board on all relevant matters.• Led company through acquisition of largest competitor/market leader in the hospice PBM industry and subsequent integration of the businesses, which included consolidation of diverse front and back-office call center and fulfillment operations, real estate consolidation and ultimate focus on revenue enhancement and expense optimization.• Reported directly to the CEO and served as a member of 6-person executive team. Key contributor on all strategic initiatives, leading company through explosive 5x EBITDA growth from start of employment through ultimate exit in January 2020, following an investment banker-led sale process delivering return in excess of 10x to Sponsor. Key Management Team participant through entire diligence and sale process.• Maintained direct responsibility for negotiating complex vendor contracts and strategic agreements, delivering the business year over year cost savings initiatives.• Successfully executed the design and implementation of new central fill automation technology solution delivering over $12 million savings.• Served as Chairman of Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, collaborating with clinicians, pharmacists, and NPs on developing and maintaining hospice formulary medication management for clients.• Following Humana’s acquisition of Enclara, led the integration of Operations, PBM and Procurement departments into Humana’s service model.
