I am a data scientist at American Express, with a Dual degree from IIT Kharagpur in the field of Industrial and Systems Engineering.My work at Amex revolves around identifying, quantifying and managing risk of an entity with creative Machine learning solutions.In my tenure, I have worked across two verticals, one focusing on transaction level risk and other on acquisitions level risk. I have partnered with multiple major US airlines and Retail industry clients to manage their transactions risk. Currently I am working with financial bureaus across multiple countries for the acquisitions risk management.I am a sports fanatic and strong believer in the use of analytics to enhance the experience. I am working on my own platform, mmahierarchy.com, which combines and generates insights from the fights data in the world of mixed-martial arts, particularly UFC.I also have worked on applying data driven strategies to minimize injuries on specific plays in American football, organized by NFL.
