• Conducted energy analysis for projects pursuing LEED, code compliance, and net zero energy/carbon targets for a variety of building typologies; carried out holistic studies involving carbon management and life cycle cost assessment• Supported implementation of post-construction measurement and verification for projects through goal-setting, data analysis, and model calibration, providing recommendations to align actual energy performance with projected performance• Experienced with relevant codes and standards including Title 24 Part 6, as well as ASHRAE 90.1 Appendix G and Energy Cost Budget methodologies; well-versed in building physics and HVAC system design

Solar Decathlon is an international competition, promoted by US Deptartment of Energy, to design, construct & operate a fully functional, solar-powered house.Team Shunya was one of 20 finalists selected from amongst participants from 16 countries, and the first ever team to represent India at the competition, with budget of INR 30 million.• Designed and implemented the entire water distribution system; achieved 50% reduction in water consumption from the current level recommended by the Bureau of Indian Standards• Designed and implemented solar thermal system for hot water generation; innovatively integrated with Phase Change Material (PCM) balls for enabling up to 48 hours thermal storage• Constructed a low-cost portable grey water recycling system using Cyperus reeds and customized filters• Awarded patent for clothes dryer with 80% higher energy efficiency and 67% cost reduction than conventional dryer

Assembly of 700 sq. ft. house in 10 days and disassembly in 5 days in accordance with safety regulations of competition• Enforced safe work practices - material handling, PPE usage, team training and emergency drills• Executed waste management strategy and site maintenance to ensure smooth functioning of team
