I have been associated with teams that gave me the opportunity to work with multiple Corporate Giants all across the globe (be it the US, Europe, Asia-Pacific or the Australian market) in helping them analyse and design their commercial modelAmong a number of problems I’ve helped my clients with, some of the major ones are:1. Analysing the response of different Promotional Channels they are using for their product and using that to optimise effort across all and maximise profits2. Designing their Sales Force Structure and optimising the size/headcount of each type of role designed (client human resource used for product promotional activities)3. Designing new Sales Force roles taking into account both the product requirements and market dynamics4. Cutting out the best suited geographical territories after identifying profitable targets and placing the right client personnel in each territory, strategically, to optimise effort and maximise returnsRecently I’ve also started working on a new set of problems, specifically in the European Market :1. Micro Segmentation : This is not only segmenting the product’s target customers to prioritise targeting but also going a step further by determining unique properties of each cluster so as to design specific promotional programs for them and understanding our audience better2. Network Analysis : This starts with the complete product market and analyses networks and influence of each target customer with one another. A highly complex exercise, this provides us with a web i.e. a network map alongside a list of major influencers in the market which can be targeted strategically. The visual web/map also helps us to analyse the flow of impact from our promotional activitiesWith the growing role, I am not only actively involved in the ground work but also have team and project management responsibilitiesThe experience so far has given me the exposure of working on a number of problems with markets and stakeholders all across the globe
