- Worked on optimizing "emurun", which is the driver that identifies the right runtime systems for various emulation flows (ZeBu/Veloce/HAPS) and rsyncs the compile-collaterals across sites, does the execution and brings back resulting artifacts and meta-data.- Picked up both the emulation build as well as simulation flows on the DV side.- Owned the simulation automation flow on the RTL side and enhanced the flow to multi-vendor flow by adding support for Xcelium and Questasim (in addition to the original VCS flow).- Finally, also worked for completely migrating the RTL automation from Perl to Python and partially migrating and merging the DV simulation and emulation Perl codebase to a unified Python solution.

These team members help with maintaining and enhancing the in-house Regression, Benchmarking and Triage frameworks.- Working with product teams in US, France and Israel to integrate their new products into existing DevOps Framework.- Continue to participate in different capacities as creator, architect, developer and consultant for various in-house automation solution to support different Customized-flows, Customer NDA requirements, Real-time Tracking solutions and Performance Tracking solutions.

- Own the automation that runs the current Regression System that runs and tracks 10+ million tests across various products and flows on a daily basis.- Key architect for the Bench-marking System which runs 10000+ performance tests and allows tracking of 50+ performance parameters across various tools and components.- Work with various product-teams (internal customers) around the globe to identify their requirements, prioritize the solutions and manage the right expectations.

- Worked on creating a basic Grid Load Profiler which logs history of various grid jobs and help identify their CPU and memory requirements. This profile-data is submitted back to the grid using an Application Level Feedback System to improve grid-utilization without overloading machines to ensure reliable results.- Managed a team of 2-3 technical individuals that handle all the Performance-Benchmarking aspects (nightly operations as well as automation) for ZeBu and emulation product-line of Synopsys' Verification Group.- Also remotely mentored another 2-3 individuals for managing overall Performance-Benchmarking of entire Verification product-line of Synopsys. (VCS, Verdi, VCStatic, SpyGlass etc.)

- Helped create and eventually own a Failure Triangulation Platform that does automatic triage and identification of checkins that caused functionality failures or performance degradation.- Consulted, helped with and eventually owned an internal Benchmark-Tracking platform to track, analyze, triage performance events across multiple releases and patches to ensure product-quality.- Created YAML-based infrastructure to support tracking of multiple performance parameters and created an independent infrastructure to run and measure performance of FPGA tools.- Helped enhance all the internal infrastructure tools written for "VCS" product to now support various other Verification Products by creating a "Product-Aware DevOps solution".

- Was the youngest member to help with the Release-Management and Tracking, and helped with tracking multiple checkin-criteria and providing checkin-permissions for the VCS2010.06 Release.- Became Local-Expert for the entire Benchmarking-System for VCS product-line and added multiple features like simplifying use-models for multiple flows as well as Customer-Designs-mandated needs.

Hyderabad Area, India

- Started with managing daily operations of the VCS Benchmarking System. Over the course of time, re-wrote the almost de-funct csh-based infrastructure to Perl code that was cleaner and better designed.- Wrote basic change-commit and change-submit Perforce Triggers to allow p4 checkins only meeting certain criteria and do some post-processing.

III - Cell is the Industry Institute Interaction Cell.In simpler words, this is the Placement Cell of Nirma University, the heart of all the corporate action.I was priviledged to work here for the placements for almost 2 years and came to know about a lot time, people and most importantly crisis management. It gave a great exposure and allowed me to work, interact and help fellow students with their placement activities.

This was a college level Club started by my Senior Punit Ganshani.It dealt with technology and programming skills.My first real managerial experience at Nirma University spawns from this club and it has a wonderful memory and learning associated with it.I worked as the Joint Secretary of the club, managed events and also wrote an online periodical MWMS (38 issues).
