Co-OwnerStudio Five27, Llc Feb 2012 - May 2018As a co-owner, I was responsible for running the business; managing projects, clients, budgets, staffing, payroll, invoicing, and contracts. I also worked as a developer and technical consultant on a variety of projects including games/simulations, mobile, UDP/TCP networking, block chain, and web applications.Projects ranged from production quality applications, to live public demos, and internal proof of concepts for ourselves and a variety of third-party contracts. The bulk of our work leveraged C# (using any of Unity3D, ASP.NET, WPF, UWP, and Xamarin), but I also used Python and C++ when needed. We used Microsoft Azure as our cloud provider of choice.This was a great experience with a constant stream of new and challenging work. Sometimes I was stepping in where things had already gone wrong and the client needed somebody they could trust to get their project on track. My favorite projects were those that called for something special. It’s exciting to tackle new problems and deliver amazing results to customers who really care about their business.
