Co-founded a 10,000 square foot business incubator for social entrepreneurs which is now home to over 80 organizations.Co-created and executed a marketing strategy for the co-working space / business incubator, ultimately attracting over 22 permanent tenants including nationally recognized organizations. Established the incubator's brand among the startup community through promotions and events such as a collaboration with graffiti crew Top Mob who created murals throughout the space in preparation of an open house for community members. Developed business plan, financial projections, operations plan, and overall strategy for incubator/co-working space focused on supporting social innovators. Coordinated business operations with the $800k+ design and construction of facility, and partnered with Impact Hub, a global network of social innovation co-working spaces.

The Blockchain for Social Impact Coalition (BSIC) is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit organization that incubates, develops, and collaborates on blockchain products and solutions that can address social and environmental challenges across the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. We aim to inspire, federate, and create bridges between NGO’s, and government agencies, foundations, impact investors, philanthropists and technologists by focusing on Financial Inclusion, Supply Chain, Identity & Vulnerable Populations, Energy & Environment, Human Rights, Health and Wellness, and Education.

East Harlem Yoga (EHY) is a community-focused yoga studio with the mission of helping people improve their physical and mental health.After operating EHY for 14 months Thomas closed operations to focus on his role at ConsenSys.

The Global Shapers, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, is a network of hubs developed and led by young people who are exceptional in their potential, their achievements and their drive to make a contribution to their communities. Previously serving as the curator of the New Orleans hub, Thomas led the management and execution of projects and initiatives that focus on local issues. In 2015 Thomas moved to NYC and has since joined the New York City Hub and is actively involved in projects which address financial inclusion among disadvantaged communities.

Live Grey was founded in January 2013 in New York City. Shortly after joining the firm as Head of Client Delivery and Development, the CEO of Live Grey decided to move the company to San Francisco, and as a result, Thomas and the company parted ways. Live Grey was originally founded as a movement to champion blending our personal and professional lives in order to have a more connected, impactful, and fulfilled life. Today, Live Grey's offerings span custom offsite retreats, team development services, and culture summits, which support creating connection in and out of the workplace.

ACSA is a $42M organization operating 6 schools serving over 4,100 students.

The Idea Village is a startup accelerator with the mission of identifying, supporting, and retaining entrepreneurial talent in New Orleans.As a consultant to The Idea Village, Thomas led marketing efforts of the Greater New Orleans Foundation/Idea Village Water Challenge to engineers, university faculty, and individuals with an interest in market-driven water management solutions. Additionally, in the second year of his engagement with the organization, Thomas developed an educational program for 29 idea-stage entrepreneurs consisting of a 'business bootcamp' curriculum focused on business model validation and customer development.

Worked as part of an organization-wide team to promote investment in the Greater New Orleans region. The business development effort was executed through multiple prongs including policy, workforce, branding, and access to capital. Ultimately, our team contributed to the attraction of corporate investment to New Orleans region, including the relocation of corporate headquarters for companies such as Blade Dynamics (600 jobs), and GameLoft (350 jobs). For over one year, I was responsible for writing and coordinating a $2M Grant which was eventually funded by the State of Louisiana - creating the Greater New Orleans Urban Water Plan. Responsibilities included the management of an Advisory Council of local and national experts in the fields of urban planning, architecture, economics, and water management. Additionally, the development of the RFP, all supporting documentation, public bidding process, and many other aspects of the grant were managed successfully, ultimately awarding the contract to Waggonner & Ball Architects, a visionary in the field of water management. In 2006, the Nigerian education system needed needed supplemental support from external organizations in order to meet the needs of the quickly growing population in and around Lagos. After speaking to community members, teachers, administrators, government officials, and several university representatives, Thomas co-founded One World Communicates.The mission of One World Communicates (OWC) was to develop self-sufficient outreach programs that focus on education, economic development, and the efficient use of community resources. OWC’s mission would be achieved through several centers throughout Lagos that were meant to provide free education and access to modern tools for the individuals in Nigeria - essentially providing the equivalent of a modern U.S. library in the parts of the world where it is needed most. The ultimate goal of OWC is to better the world we live in through increased communication and knowledge-sharing which in turn will open the minds of individuals so that peace can be seen as evident in every community of the globe.
