Tech and product lead of email notifications subsystem of VK.com, aimed to notify tens of millions of users everyday. Tech lead of cross-unit NPS+CSI scoring system for 50M+ DAU portal.– designed and implemented new features in product team that is responsible for onboarding flow of new users– prepared and ran A/B tests, did fast-checks of hypotheses by querying large amounts of data, broke down test results with collaboration with data analysts– conducted interviews and onboarding of new team members– implemented new extendable analytics for email notifications to build up a product backlog of improvements, to monitor key health and product metrics and have ability to test email marketing campaigns results– held a product strategy for my field of responsibilities– widely participated in development and launch of cross-unit project — "VK mail". We gave an ability for users to get their very own @vk.com mailboxes. I was responsible for core part, that checks requirements and registers new mailboxes, and supported technical side of wide marketing activity to millions of usersIt was cross-unit partnership, what required me to interact with 50+ specialists in different areas, synchronizing requirements and implementation details– held a tech lead and project management role in a large cross-unit project of NPS and CSI measurements, implemented quick in a small team of 4 devs. We've created internal SDK for teams to measure their product's NPS and CSI metrics, collected via automated polls.Main difficulty is to handle dozens of millions of users, participated in pollsKey results:- over 1M mailboxes registered in first days after launch of VK mail- dozens of conducted A/B tests to raise time spent, DAU, MAU of the whole product and his parts- dozens of released features with accurate impact checking through A/B tests- 2 onboarded teammates and dozens of interview sessions- just 2 months to launch a fully-featured MVP of NPS polls system

Designed self-sustaining pet-project alive for more than 10 years which helps hundreds of thousands of users and digital entrepreneurs to overcome missing functionality in largest Russian/European social network VK.com (Vkontakte) related to work with photoalbums.It evolved from simple PHP script to complex system on Laravel, PHP7, Vue.js with use of postgres, memcached, beanstalkd, supervisord, docker and other tools behind.Currently act as CEO, CTO, customer relationship manager, full-stack developer, system administrator, designer, copywriter, investor.Key results:- from little project for my friends it grew to instrument for more than 450k users- there are more than 9000 positive reviews (https://vkpic.ru/feedback) and 2M albums processed - it was noticed by Paul Durov's startup support initiative Start Fellows in 2014, what then allowed me to visit VK.com office, meet devs, ask them questions and come closer to my desire to work here

As a part-time participant of small core team in a startup, I contributed to the development of Platos Health (former Zest) — a software-driven, personalized lifestyle treatment to prevent, control, and reverse diabetes without increasing medication costs, supported by Google.Working with a small team of 2 developers, we were able to create a complex system to support our main mobile application and gained the attention of Google, receiving $300k in support funds. We utilized a server-less infrastructure to quickly respond to customer demands and drive product development.I actively participated in key product meetings, including planning, design and product strategy discussions, to implement the best solutions based on my background and personal observations.Key achievements include:- Building a multi-tenant admin panel from scratch- Refactoring and optimizing backend architecture- Adding dozens of API methods- Implementing a universal, flexible and scalable access-control system in API- Developing an email reporting system for patients from scratch- Building a system for per-user scheduling of taking medical readings and other actions- Implementing a CI/CD system on top of Github Actions for quicker and automatic deploymentsAll this was done with the small team and in part-time involvement which made the results even more remarkable.
