Mangistau Nuclear Energy Plant provided one month long internship program in water desalination industry. First, it was mandatory to pass 1 week safety training and learning ethics at the industry. The main task of internship was to make a research of sea water distillation process that feeds entire arid region with drinking water. My main responsibilities included: • Monitoring the plant production through SIMATIC WinCC (Siemens) system;• Observing and analysing PID parameters of the water desalination plant;• Full understanding of technological process and reporting it on Intern Report;• Manually testing and comparing the data from measuring instruments with data from SCADA in order to observe the annual workload of the plant;• Produced a presentation on the topic “How to expand the technological process”.

My first business experience has helped me to handle multiple tasks at the same time such as writing a technical specification while making market research which also involved estimating the prime cost of the product. My project was relevant to banking transaction hence involved negotiations with the bank. Additionaly, it was important to negotiate with suppliers and service providers. Actively studying the taxation laws on start-up companies and handle the deadlines. A significat part of the project was Writing a business plan (costing, market research). Also it was important to keep good relationships with other entrepreneur colleagues and assist them usage of Arduino and CAD software;(buisness plan and core details of the project are available upon request)
