General Manager of Candela Division which serves the Data Storage, High Brightness LED, and other markets with the Candela and KLA-Tencor Surface Profiler product lines.

Founder of Candela Instruments, a defect inspection and manufacturing process monitoring equipment company that serves the Data Storage, LED, and Compound Semiconductor markets. Candela products became the industry standard in inspecting magnetic disk substrate/media and HB-LED wafers. Candela was acquired by KLA-Tencor in 2004.
