Supported the Air National Guard (ANG) / Reserves modification programs and the C-130 System Program Office (SPO) at Robins Air Force Base. Projects and related efforts are CNS/ATM, Precision Airdrop, Enhanced Situational Awareness, RTIC, LITENING pod, and SCNS. Responsibilities included airworthiness determination, requirements specification, test planning, documentation review, coordination of assets, investigation of vendor solutions, budgeting and estimating, scheduling, and support of ANG and SPO project managers.

Managed multiple million-dollar contracts to upgrade the F-15 Avionics Integration Support Facility’s software avionics simulator workstations. Tasks include performing budget and schedule planning and project execution using Earned Value Management; directing all phases of project from proposal, inception through completion; participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes; acting as primary customer contact for project activities; and leading program milestone review meetings with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establish milestones, Integrated Master Schedule, and monitor adherence to master these plans, and identify program problems and devise solutions, such as re-allocating resources or changing contractual specifications. Develop new enterprise business or expand the product line with existing customers. Prepare proposals, business plans, work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. As supervisor, perform goal-setting, performance appraisals, and salary administration for directly-reporting employees and provide supplemental performance inputs for other employees in the enterprise matrix environment.Successfully delivered the Air Force Special Operations Forces (SOF) Extendible Integration Support Environment (EISE) AC-130U Gunship software development, hardware integration, and test platform, a $7M effort. Managed the engineering hardware and software development teams (over matrixed 25 employees) and interfaced with government customer stakeholders. As Project Manager, managed multiple concurrent development projects performing Program plan development, project scheduling and resource planning / assignment, and daily financial and technical project management activities. Active in business development expansion efforts with existing and potential customers. As Software Lead, developed object-oriented, real-time embedded Linux-based software for the U.S. Air Force's C-130W and Japanese Air Defense Forces' C-130 Interface Adapter Unit (IAU) Line Replaceable Assembly (LRU) hardware. Performed estimation, planning, scheduling, software requirements development, modeling, specification, design and implementation in C++, software unit and integration testing. Developed the specialized automated hardware and software elements to provide factory/production testing. Supported the United States Air Force Integrated Product Team efforts in the acquisition of the C-130 aircraft Avionics Modernization Program (AMP) as a Subject Matter Expert. As QA Manager, performed quality assurance activities including audits, document reviews and process compliance and improvement tasks for the ARINC Warner Robins department and other ARINC offices. Wrote Quality Assurance Plans, conducted hardware, software, and procedure audits, held reviews, and reported results through each product’s or service’s development phases. Evaluated final contract deliverables at the project's end. Led organizational data collection and analysis efforts, documented process deviations/non-compliance, and wrote and authorized updated processes and procedures. As Test Engineer, designed and developed automated tests and related hardware/software for factory/production testing of manufactured items. Designed and implemented custom interface hardware, test cables, specialized PXI test equipment and adapters, and software (National Instruments' LabView, LabWindows/CVI and TestStand.)

As Software Engineer, provided design engineering for the AC-130H Gunship Mission Computer Operational Flight Program (OFP). Gathered user needs, developed requirements, wrote system specifications, designed and documented system interfaces to external hardware and software entities, analyzed and used MIL-STD-1553 data bus, designed software, implemented code, and tested resulting executable product for inclusion in block cycle releases. Solicited requirements from crew members, and tested solutions on avionics simulators and aircraft.As TPS Engineer, provided hardware and software design engineering for E-3 circuit card test program sets (TPS). Wrote requirements, performed analysis, designed hardware interface, implemented source code, compiled, tested, and participated in release activities to implement avionics depot test objectives. Developed all technical documentation and supplied Technical Orders content.

As Project Leader, managed the operations and technical direction of a team of government and contract engineers (20 individuals) performing software and hardware sustainment and development operations for the SH-60 Light Airborne Multi-Purpose System (LAMPS) avionics test program sets (TPS). Planned, estimated, executed, monitored, and approved all engineering design changes by other engineers. Served as the main technical point of contact for Defense Department, industry, contractor, and foreign military personnel.As TPS Engineer, provided hardware and software design engineering for assigned test program sets. Performed requirements analysis, design, coding, test, and release activities. Prepared Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and coordinated all logistical elements for the assigned test program sets. Coordinated and maintained the Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Control effort in the laboratory environment.
