I am passionate about the power of education and have a wide range of experience as a teacher, lecturer and trainer, through Primary, Secondary and FE College roles. I have successfully headed departments and achieved excellent results through out my career. I have also held roles as a regional Development Manager with Pearson | Edexcel, and as an education consultant.Over the course of my career, I have developed excellent speaking and listening skills. I can get a message across and sharing my skills with others is my main aim. I have done this as a trainer of other professionals in my career in education and as a co-founder, talking to investors and being successful at getting them on board.Communication is an area in which I have further developed my skills and knowledge. I enjoy listening to people and talking to them. Whether this be as part of a presentation to companies or potential partners, or a casual meeting at a coffee shop. Interacting with an audience brings out the best in me.I love presenting and creating multimedia resources to support what I am saying. As a firm believer in CLT (Cognitive Load Theory), I enjoy sharing ideas with others, where they can focus on the message. I will always provide more detailed and accessible information for them to view later. Watching people enjoy learning about the subject of my presentation is a wonderful thing!Another passion is creating multimedia resources. Whether this be through film or PowerPoint presentations, my mission is to ensure that the presentations I make and deliver are enjoyable, inspiring and make a difference. I have developed a wide range of multimedia skills and used them effectively in different projects. I want to share the skills, knowledge and experience I have developed with others.I have extensive experience in training others in the use of software and in communication with others.
