•Manage multiple large-scale commercial structural steel projects for customers through estimating, detailing, engineering, design build, drawing approvals, and final steel fabrication/delivery. Correspondence includes Corps of Engineers/Military, Architects, Engineer of Record, RFI Process (Request for Information), ASI (Architect Supplemental Instruction), driven by contract documents, and Specifications. Manage projects through multiple states and military establishments.•Multitask, communication, analytical problem solving by interfacing with necessary internal departments and customers. •Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers.•Assures accounting for project estimates and change orders.•Ratify contracts and subcontracts with suppliers and steel erectors (contract review and compliance).•Direct production, fabrication schedules, and priorities based on customer requirements.•Work with contractors, trades, consultants, engineers, detailers, superintendents, and foremen to ensure projects are successfully progressing to meet schedule timelines. •Facilitate team meetings, “Kaizen Events”, and utilize continuous improvement (Lean & Six-Sigma) tools to eliminate waste from the radial truck tire manufacturing process, which involves over 500 associates. •Coordinate electronic and manual “Push-to-Pull” production systems, 5’s organization, Kaizen Events, Standard Work, and driving forward the continuous improvement culture. Report bi-weekly value-added progress to the Director and Vice President of Goodyear North America Tire.
