Vice President of Enterprise Application Architecture - Chief Application Architect for FedExResponsible for Enterprise Application Architecture, Enterprise Analytics and Software Engineering including: * Development and implementation of a TOGAF based Enterprise Application Architecture Framework in a scaled agile environment to address Business and IT strategies that continued growth and success for FedEx. * Define and implement strategies that ensure the use and implementation of data quality across the IT organization, participating as a strategic partner to the business by driving enterprise data solutions and standards. * Evolve and enhance the Enterprise Architecture Governance Frameworks in a highly federated environment, clearly identifying roles and responsibilities of technology and business teams. * Collaborate with business and technology areas to provide architecture thought leadership to all transformational initiatives across the global enterprise. * Leverage Business Driven Architecture to define, document and rationalize the value streams and capabilities that drive delivery of reliable, consistent enterprise scale Business solutions. * Lead the definition, documentation and socialization of common "cookbook recipes" (aka repeatable software engineering patterns) leveraging solutions such as Stack Overflow Enterprise. * Responsible for the development and implementation of forward looking Architecture blueprints, roadmaps and artifacts at all levels of SAFe. * Responsible for FedEx Enterprise Analytics solutions including the Enterprise Data Warehouse Teradata), Big Data (Hadoop), Business Intelligence (Spotfire, Business Objects) environments and Machine Learning solutions. This includes leveraging Cloud provider solutions to enable a hybrid cloud analytics set of solutions. * Provide leadership and guidance for the design and implementation of a "Cloud Native" strategy for the global enterprise.

Managing Director – Software Quality Assurance Engineering Responsible for the scoping, planning, organization and delivery of the Test Center of Excellence (TCoE), a multiyear transformation program targeting the modernization of enterprise scale testing, and enabling solutions that move code quality further up the development lifecycle. Responsible for the leadership of tactical TCoE solutions (realized from the roadmap) that have enabled FedEx to be first to the market place with innovative new solutions, and has facilitated a fast cycle, industry leading customer integration certification solution. The speed of these market place offerings would not have been achievable without the “ready release” work enabled by the TCoE strategy, roadmap and solutions. Directly responsible for the leadership and management of an development and technical support team of fifty plus software engineering professionals. During my time in this role, I’ve been able to build a very strong, self-motivated engineering department with proven capability of delivering enterprise level solutions that enable speed for the business while facilitating new thinking and certification techniques for large enterprise initiatives. Additional responsibilities while in this position include involvement in the TSM/BSM Enterprise Architecture initiatives, serving in an architect and leadership role.
