SUMMARY: I began my career in Banking at American Fletcher National Bank in 1969 on the 1401. Since then I have been in development, support, and management in both software and Item Processing. I was promoted into management at UCC which later became UCCEL, and then purchased by CA. I advanced from Project Leader to Director responsible for 140 people when I was sent to Chicago managing the takeover of two companies.I was part of the SuperMICR development and installation team for the technical support of the online and MVS/DOS-VSE systems. I left to create my own company and worked with Spears and Associates and BankTec on their 4300 Reject Repair systems supporting SuperMICR, OSCHECK, DOSCHECK, and CPCS. I was involved heavily with CPCS at First Interstate (Well's Fargo) for 4 years, SunTrust for 7 years, Key Bank for 3.5 years and Symcor for 1.5 years; honing my skills and developing many systems. Assembler was my primary language but switched to COBOL as it advanced in technology. I also wrote a several systems for the P/C using “C” and worked with JAVA.I taught COBOL, Assembler, SCI, and Easytreive at several of my last contracts.GOALS: To continue growing technically.Specialties: CPCS, SuperMICR, VSAM, VTAM, CICS, Easytreive, Dyl360, HFS, Carreker ECP, ORBS, ORSS, OLRR, SCI, TCM, and the mainframe support of IBM Payments Director, and Sierra Exchange.
