• Design single sided, double sided and multi-layered PCB’s using industry standard techniques, ensuring consideration for DFM/DFT have been made
• Working with Electronic/ RF Engineers to develop schematics. CAD library administration including symbol, footprint generation and database administration
• Contributing to continual process improvement within the PCB layout function
• Responsible for creating the macro or component in the library for PCB layout
• Interface with manufacturing to incorporate DFM feedback on designs
• Basic knowledge on creating macros and component libraries

• Responsible for creating and modifying schematic diagrams, extracting a net-list, knowing the basic description of the board function, configuration, and arrangement based on input provided by engineering staff.
• Work closely with Design Engineers and Mechanical Engineers to produce the optimal PCB layout for power supply.
• Responsible for pro actively anticipating DFM considering Manufacturing, Industry and Vendor Standards; interface with manufacturing to incorporate DFM feedback on designs
• Ensures design and products conform to design rules, sound engineering practicesand the supplier specifications
• Propose process improvements to ensure PCB functionality, quality and reliability.
• Develop quality documentation to support the design including the schematic,fabrication, assembly and panel drawings. Provide accurate post-processing datafiles for manufacturing including Gerber, drill, and part.
