Network Engineer/Database Manager II- LESD• Daily responsibilities include configuration, implementation, and management of 3 separate network infrastructures supporting wide area network connections throughout multiple army bases within the United States and abroad. • Configure Windows Server 2003/2008: DHCP Server, DNS Server, IAS, NPS Radius Server, Active Directory, and SharePoint managing user accounts for entire Army National Simulations Center Exercise Directorate.• Research, evaluate, and plan new installation equipment and processes to better serve the network and its clients. • Maintain a high level of teamwork, and guidance to provide and share information to management, upper level and lower level customers and employees. • Responsible for implementing DIACAP procedures on all network equipment• Maintain Telephone and VTC bridge for Army National Simulation Centers• Responsible for Retina scans on devices that have new and update software and operating systems

• Provide Tier II support for Army end users in classrooms and offices• Connect Cat5 cable to patch panels to activate ports in classrooms• Replace computer hardware as needed under warranty and Lifecycle replacements• Printer, and digital sender configuration and mapping for users• Migrate user systems from Windows Vista to Windows 7 and Patch all NIPR(unclassified) computers so that they are running correctly• Use Active Directory to make sure systems are not restricted or stale• Use privileged IMO account when necessary to adding computers to the domain, and updating Windows• Use Numera Track-it ticketing system to close tickets that were put in by end users• Receive hands on server training with server administrators

• Provide end user support for Bon Secour users• Assisted with system upgrades and computer imaging.• Provide technical support for EPIC (electronic medical record system)
