As Centre Manager I was responsible for the day to day running of the site which includes managing the daily Health and Safety requirements, First Aid, managing the daily Food and Hygiene requirements, managing cleaning staff, assisting with volunteers queries and overseeing onsite work. I am also responsible for the IT systems within the building which includes instillation and upgrading of the IT network, assisting with any IT problems, maintaining the server and maintenance of the VOIP phone system. As well as these duites I was responsible for organising the distribution of Food between our 12 food banks.

As Contracts Engineer, my primary role was the contract management of our package pump station solutions. I liaised closely with customers and suppliers to ensure their requirements are met and suppliers to ensure the equipment arrives on time and to resolve any issues that may arise throughout the process. I was also responsible for ordering and delivering variety of pumps, mixers and equipment to meet customer’s requirements and arranging their timely delivery.

Since becoming a Contracts Engineer, I have completed a variety of contracts used for applications including aeration, mixing, ground water, storm water, water treatment and small tank installations. As Contracts Administrator, I was responsible for electronically transferring all new contracts from the Tendering Department to the Contracts department. This required me to ensure information, costing and account codes were accurate before transferring the tenders into contracts and allocating the contracts to Contracts Engineers. In this position I worked closely with the Contracts Manager and was a point of contact for customer inquiries. During this time I was also responsible for maintaining and developing databases to monitor the status and value of all the department's contracts.This role also involved the compilation of product documentation for customers, in the form of manuals. In 2001, I designed and introduced the CD-Rom manual as an alternative format to hard copy manuals. This was a much more cost-effective method of supplying documentation than hard copies and CD-Rom manuals now account for 80% of all manuals produced. In 2003 I started working on low level contracts for our sales department to facilitate my training as a Contracts Engineer

In this customer service role, I was responsible for processing booking requests from national sports bodies, businesses and individuals for the centres sports, conference and accommodation facilities. I liaised closely with the facilities, corporate events and catering departments to provide a high quality service to clients.

At Edexcel Foundation, a national qualifications and examinations board, I was responsible for several contracts including the photocopying, cleaning, stationery and the catering contracts. This consisted of ensuring that contractors classified all the requirements of the contracts and liaising with contractors to resolve any problems. I also developed databases to monitor expenditure on meeting venues, courier and photocopying services and I produced several reports for company Directors. Within this position I was also assisted with the monthly budget accruals and processed invoices.
