Humid Snake Productions was founded out of the Brisbane City Council Creative Sparks program to document the history of several Brisbane music venues and relay their stories in an episodic podcast. In collaboration with 4ZZZ Radio, the team has grown with producers, editors, and research assistants. We continue to embark on uncovering and delivering stories in a podcast medium.

Emerge Radio Show started as a student-run project that expanded from it's AM radio frequency through Pheonix Radio (USQ) to become a celebrated podcast and organisation in the Brisbane Music Scene.Focusing entirely on celebrating Queensland Music, myself and the executive producer (Calen Le Couteur) actively sought out emerging Queensland talent to feature on our show. After Covid-19, we continue the show as a podcast series and championed local music in a time where gigs and exposure was harder than ever to realise for struggling artists.Our yearly countdown of out top QLD songs (released in their respective years) garnered great local attention and winners celebrated their placements akin to that of the Triple J hot 100 or the 4ZZZ countdown. We have been fortunate to host QLD legends such as Sycco, Hope D, Girl and Girl, Full Flower Moon Band and FELIVAND amongst a plethora of underground artists. We are currently on a hiatus as we continue to expand our knowledge and abilities in our respective fields, but will always champion and appreciate QLD music.
