Russell Burt spent the last 40 years in various business management, business development, and executive positions. As Marketing Manager for a national plumbing specialty company, he successfully started their Canadian division, then advanced to manage their largest international division. Then at a national food service equipment company, Russell managed market development and sales training. With partners he then purchased and became CEO of a food service equipment manufacturing company.After serving as a small business CEO, he became an advocate for the small business, entering the small business health insurance industry offering health insurance through business associations. Then as an independent representative of Aflac for 28 years, he was a top associate, Sales Coordinator, and was 4 times in the top 10 nationally, including the number 2 position. Russell has consulted more than 120 businesses during his career, helping develop business plans and strategies, mostly focusing on Sales and Marketing, but for many developing and implementing complete business plans. His ventures have also included enterprises in Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Haiti.He has served on both the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce and New Jersey Business & Industry Association Health Affairs and Educational Affairs Advisory Committees for 12 years. He was First VP of East Orange Chamber of Commerce for 18 years and was the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Businessperson of the Year in 2004.
