As the Project Estimator/Designer at Exact Contracting I am responsible for ensuring that we have accurate and up to Quantity schedules and take-offs, as well as verifying the accuracy of those provided to the company for the tender process.I use a range of software packages to turn the information we are provided into workable models that provide the company with measurements/ volumes and also show an overview of the construction process.This often results in doing some in house design work to create a workable approach to meeting the clients specifications and budget, but also allows optionality to be explored on large construction projects.
