Russ joined the Firm in 2005 and currently serves as the Chief Compliance Officer and Associate General Counsel. He oversees the Firm's compliance program and supports all legal and regulatory functions. Russ has significant experience with the rules and regulations governing the investment management industry and is a member of several of the Firm's executive operating committees. He is also licensed with FINRA. Horizon Kinetics LLC, located at 470 Park Avenue South, New York, NY, is parent company to several subsidiary U.S. registered investment advisers and broker-dealers, which manage a variety of investment products, including mutual funds, hedge funds, retail and institutional separate accounts, and European UCITS. The firm is primarily a traditional value manager, but it also pursues investments in the cryptocurrency and digital asset space.
