As Director of Mill Operations, Implemented both federal and state safety regulations, Streamlined production processes and tooling to increase production by 300%. I was also responsible for training up to 100 as well as new employees with particular focus on continued training. One of my areas of focus was to maintain a culture of continuous improvement (CI). While my team was very successful, we felt that always improving and focusing on our respective duties was the best way to keep CI at the front of our minds. 2008 was a rough year for many in our industry and we were no exception. Our mill closed in 2008.
