Primary project was an internal information system for managing festivals. The initial client was Melbourne International Arts Festival, but later it was also sold to Brisbane Festival, Perth Festival, WOMADelaide, plus numerous smaller Festivals in Australia and New Zealand. For the first several years it was installed onsite at each client, however in 2010 I modified the system to run as SaaS in the Cloud. I also built a smaller Orchestra management system for my Festival system client. It was used for several years by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, and was also eventually converted to SaaS.The other major client for my business was Hobsons Australia. They manage applications for tertiary institutions and are now known as QS Enrolment Solutions. I worked on a number of projects at Hobsons, including both legacy ASP.NET Webforms and more modern ASP.NET MVC/Dapper/Knockout.js/Vue.js systems. Also the majority of the database work at Hobsons was Oracle.Other projects for my business included a Content Management System written in Classic ASP, work for Telstra and the Australian Defence Force and a public website and internal management system for a classic car restoration business,

Taught VB6 and Active Server Pages two days per week at Australian Qualifications Framework Level 5 (Diploma).

Responsible for architectural design of Sausage's web development using Microsoft technologies. Coached and mentored junior developers. Worked on projects for a number of Sausage's clients, but my primary project was an online business solution for the New South Wales State Chamber of Commerce. This project also exposed me to eCommerce development and third-party product integration.

Developed applications for Ocean’s clients using Microsoft technologies including Active Server Pages, SQL Server, Visual Basic and Access. I was responsible for the analysis, design and coding of websites for the Royal Australian Air Force, Ken Duncan (Australian photographer), E-mail Directory Australia and Barrister’s Clerking Services, among many others. I was also a team leader.

Taught a first-year programming class, with topics including structured programming concepts and elementary C programming.

Built a MS Access information system for a plastic bag manufacturer. I was responsible for requirements gathering, database and UI design, implementation, testing, and migration of a legacy system written in C to the Access system.

Junior mainframe COBOL programmer. Also worked with ISPF, JCL and Easytrieve. One project also involved writing COBOL to download data from the mainframe, then importing it into MS Excel for reporting purposes using charts.
