Headline achievements at this FMCG / Medical devices company were to improve global marketing and innovation, establish a Risk Management and Governance system, and implement a new MBO system.Headquartered in the US, t/o of USD 140million, this subsidiary of Pigeon Corporation (Nikkei Listed) - the largest baby products manufacturer globally,- produces medical devices and breast feeding products.Achievements and legacy include:Innovation• Reorganized Global Marketing and Innovation functions – cost savings Group USD500k pa. • Implemented a process-map for innovation that positively influenced the culture for innovation, backed by increased appreciation of the “customer journey”. • Improved board communication and decision making, aligning innovation with strategy. • The innovation process facilitated the introduction of a succession of new products, securing USD 20 million per annum revenue, and built corporate confidence in innovation as competence.Risk Management• Established and then Chaired the Business Risk Committee with core membership of CEO, CFO and Head of Global Corporate Planning.
