My role was to develop a comprehensive supply chain plan for the Freedom Challenge Marketplace. This involved coordinating all of the international logistics for shipping artisan products into the United States. There are multiple countries in which the Freedom Challenge coordinates artisan projects. These projects employ former slaves who create products to provide an income for themselves. The Marketplace aims to sell these products for a profit here in the United States. Some of my duties included researching customs requirements, constructing quality control guidelines, evaluating shipping modes and carriers, and managing inventory levels based on production capacity.

• Facilitated and supervised an after-school tutoring program for 20-30 kids two days per week• Collaborated with the non-profit board to make key decisions about logistics of the agency• Planned and led various events at the site such as meals, Bible studies, and guy’s nights
