Critical project components include the development of a consolidated billing platform and the automation of the Electronic patient election form (ePEF), Electronic referral (internal) and data matching to support outpatient clinic funding for discharged/ineligible/private funding sources, and reconciliation of bank statement payments including distribution to the General Ledger. This will also include reporting tools to increase visibility and accountability of Right Of Private Practice (RoPP) opportunities to bill, as per the Queensland Audit Office report ‘Right to Private Practice in Queensland Public Hospitals’. Upon successful implementation, it is intended this will be adopted across Queensland Health.• Undertake analysis, provide strategic advice, expert leadership and subsequent development and implementation of a high quality sustainable web based consolidated information and reporting system platform: Financial Activity Scorecard Tool (FAST) will require state-wide scalability with streamlined and automated integration with current information systems to introduce greater accountability and transparency for the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service Board, Executive management, Divisional Directors and Cost Centre Managers. • Develop, encourage and facilitate an environment of participation and collaboration with co-ordinated workplace change through business improvement technology, strategies and initiatives.
